Join us for a visit to the farm ~ partake in the evening chores ~ and taste the bounty of the season.
You've always wanted to see the farm; and here's your chance. George will lead a full farm tour of our pasture-based, multi-species operation on Vashon Island where we raise pigs, lamb, and poultry. We'll sample wine and cheese from the cellar while you watch the evening milking performed by our raw milk dairy crew. Then, sit down to a four-course dinner at La Boucherie, featuring all the bounty of both farm and season. Chef Dustin is preparing a delectable meal:
Bartlett Pears & Ham
Island-grown pears, thin-sliced smoked ham, & farm cheese finished w/ cider vinaigrette
Chanterelle Mushroom Risotto
Foraged mushrooms & Delicata squash in a creamy carnaroli rice potage mounted w/ farm butter
Farmhouse Braised Lamb
Young Sea Breeze Farm lamb, slow braised w/ farm wine & rich aromatics, served over a potato & fall vegetable hash
Rustic Apple Tart
An old-fashioned tart made from island apples in a farm butter pastry crust, topped w/caramel-hazelnut ice cream
